Wheel of Time = home wrecker

Q got the last Wheel of Time book in the mail today and has been hiding out reading it all day & night. So I figured I would update our blog.  (I've already had my fill of Teen Mom episodes and am not really motivated to get off the couch...)

So- since the last blog post we have had Halloween. We carved pumpkins. Mine is on the left.  I don't remember why, but I was a little mad that day.

We were in Phoenix on Halloween for a conference for Quintin, so we didn't dress up or anything.

Also since the last blog post we did a couple 5ks. We did a 10k while we were in Phoenix and a 5k on Thanksgiving and then the Great Las Vegas Santa Run 5k!
There were hoards of santa's and it was pretty overwhelming trying to keep track of Quintin when everyone is wearing the same thing - but we got a santa suit out of it which I know will come in handy all through the year.  I know it.

We found out we are expecting a BABY in July!  So far everything with Baby has gone pretty smooth.  Except my face- it's not smooth at all...
We also celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary! Can you believe how time flies!! It has been a wonderful year of wedded bliss and I am excited for many more!

For our anniversary we went to San Diego! It was so fun to be at the beach and see the mighty ocean! I will never get sick of it.  We had a great hotel very close to the water.  We relaxed and shopped and spent a day at the zoo and one at Birch Aquarium and whale watching.  We missed the first whale watching boat and almost scrapped the idea, but I am glad we didn't cause the one we made it on was pretty incredible. We followed a family of 5 grey whales for close to an hour as they migrated on to Mexico.  I feel like we got to know them a little bit.
um - Q took this picture...
we also saw pilgrims

They all waved good-bye.
A PANDA! (this is special to us cause Panda Express used to be our favorite place)  :P
That is pretty much what we've been up to.  We also had a really fun Christmas with my sister & her hubby. We got an Xbox 360 & Kinect so that has been pretty entertaining!  We had a wonderful New Years with some of our favorite people.  (I just don't have pictures of that stuff)

Any bets on how long until he finishes the book?

  2. Well it took me 3 days to read it, but I had pesky children interrupting me. I'd bet he finishes it today. And then he can spend the next 2 days on the phone with me discussing is. And THEN you might have your husband back. Happy anniversary!!
